Can i cash my check in any Indian bank

    Can i cash my check in any Indian bank or there are some special bank.

    I have a account in SBI.Can i cash my check from SBI ?

    Yes , you may cashout your cheque wherever you want , since you have an account at SBI just go there !

    Definately. You may cashout your cheque in any bank. You'll get cash available in your bank account within 2 days (if there is citi bank branch in your city) otherwise it'll take some more time.

    how about uti and icici bank. how many days will it take, and is there any fee charged for this.

    https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=15915&topic=8452 shows that India is one of those countries which will receive payment in the local currency, ie rupees. That being said, it would be drawn on a local bank. Just treat it like any other Indian Checks.

    Incidentally, even if your country is not included in the list, you would still be able to bank in a foreign checks. In today's time and age, as long as your bank has international connections and not one of those 'illegal banks', any checks from any free country can be cashed in, it may just take time, like a few weeks to a month but you will most definitely get your money.

    since google is issuing check in INR, any bank it will talk only two days.

    I have checked out mine too in India... so is fine ;)
    You just should be careful about fee and number of days up to get cash.
