Can i buy .edu domain somewhere

    I am from outside europe and US.

    I am domain reseller.

    I have some national level college and universities (top of my country) ,who wants to buy .edu domains.
    We can provide all required documents from our country level(even govermental verficiation and all)

    so is there any way we can buy .edu domain for the collegename or university name?

    SEEMS like there is monopoly and .edu domain is only kept by americans....and some europen countries
    and now there seems to be no way how can we get Accredited....
    even Accrediting agencies are all from US....
    that way single .edu domain can cost us more than $1000 dollars....even if we get it....

    seems to they have made it their property...edu domains...
