I have a rapidshare collector's account that is having 40000 points... So i can redeem it for a 25euro amazon voucher ... So if i shop with amazon,will i get my product in india ? Has anyone tried it because i read somewhere it doesnt work in india .. If it works,then we also have to pay customs etc.. or not ??
Amazon list India in their international destinations here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_navbox_596184_tips?nodeId=596188 ... so I guess they must ship some items to India. I've only ever been able to order books and CDs from Amazon (I'm in Australia).
Why would customs seize it (unless it was an illegal item)? If it's just a book or a CD, then it should be OK shouldn't it? I buy a crap load of stuff from China and Japan (RC bits, computer hardware, electronics etc) and Australian customs have NEVER opened a single parcel (as far as I know), not even bulk orders... Maybe we've just got really lazy customs officers in AU
