Can I Buy an IP Address?

    Can I buy my own IP address?

    I don't want to buy a dedicated IP from a host, but rather I want to buy my own IP that is registered in ICANN's records under my name.

    How can I do that? And how much it'd cost?

    To get your own block through ARIN (if you're in the US), you have to a lot of IPs, and spend quite a chunk of money. You can't buy a single IP through ARIN.

    they only sell in large blocks of /24 and you need to prove you have a use for them.
