can i build full websites for 1 product?

hi,

can someone just clear this up for me as Im unsure. Can I build full sites (articles, custom graphics, maybe a cute script) purely based around selling one particular google referral?

it might sound like an obvious question to some but ive only just realised the potential in google referrals..

Definitely that is possible .

For example - Mozilla FireFox of Google .
You can place all info , put downloads of the browser plugins and their info .
Also a forum for support is possible .

Yes its legible .
As a matter of fact you can even ask people to download using the link .

BUT you cant pay them for downloading the stuff or compensate them for using referrals .

EDIT: just seen, from asking the question it took me 3 hours (including having a coffee and a sarnie) to go and build the website...

Why not? There are so many products in referral 2.0 for you to advertise about.

annoyingly, one of the referrals ended (i obviously didn't research the company behind it well enough) so I've just stuck regular adsense on it but added it as a single page to another referral sie.

Its in Google, getting a 30% CTR and so far, about 50% conversion. At $1 per conversion I think I might go for a network of purpose built referral sites over a niche content network....
