Let's take the budget out of the equation for a minute. At the end of the day we are all guessing what the best practices are in the present and what has worked in the past few years. I would work more on making my sites relevant to the search engines, creating solid content, reducing bounce rates and improving the visitors time of stay. This will also increase conversion from my perspective which is how most of us make money on the internet. So in answer to the $100 question, personally I would spend it on content to give your site more weight so that the SE's value your site and maybe gradually get you to a higher position.

I agree with GURU4SEO. You can get it done for $100.

But if you have the time....You can do it yourself! It's called working and laying a good foundation. Problem is most of us are driven to make money online because we need the money yesterday!

If that's your situation....$100 spent with the right expert....Means money in the bank for you!

    Blessings!

You need genuine link building for long term results .thats all i can say .You can do manual link building on your own instead of paying .But now days people are hardly spending that much amount .

I get paid squat compared to a lot of people in my field. I make almost $100/day (8 hours) doing internet marketing/SEO. If his keyword is competitive enough that he can't get up a few spots on his own then he's not going to be able to afford to have an expert do it for $100. I'll bet a "good" expert would charge, at the very minimum, at least least half of his budget. 2 hours of work won't get you big jumps in rankings for a high competition keyword.

You can get to 1 position easily with that budget but there are other factors involved not only budget... You should also tell us your targeted niche... You just need to obtain backlinks from different sources now.
Shoot me a PM if you still want to learn something about SEO, i can help ya out.

I think the first step you should consider, before you pay someone $100 is by make your content become keyword rich. By put in image, bold, header, etc...

The reailty is that 100 is going to get you very far. Whatever you did to get your site to 5th position may get the job done (if you keep doing it) unless it is tough keywords. And if it is a tough keyword 100 is not even close to what you'll need.
