    Hi there,
I am using Google analytics to determine the stats for my blog. And a few months before I installed one plugin to my wordpress blog. "Count Per Day Plugin", its really an awesome one. But in this plugin it shows 75-90 visitors per each day and around 120-150 page views. And for the week ends it may tends to 20-30 visits. But Google Analytics show only 20-30 visitors every day except the week ends. The count per day plugin is also showing all the referral url too. I am really confused by seeing the big difference between these two. Which one should I trust? Does anybody having an experience with the above mentioned plugin. ??

Could somebody please help me in this. ?
    Thanks

Probably, you have done mistake while adding the code of count plugins. I did the same mistake while adding flag counter in my blog. So the same traffic is showing in my three blog. While the Google Analytics is giving the different and correct data.

Are those referral links also showing in Google analytics but just with less visitors?

The counter is probably running on the server while the GA count is javascript so if a user clicks off before the javascript has run your count will appear lower.

Google analytics tends to underestimate because it uses the java code and not all visitors are counted. you can use other free analytic programs or even check out what google webmaster tools gives you - note it is different from google analytics numbers but gives an explanation between the two counts on that site itself.

it happened to my site counter too, the stats from plug-in and actual GA account doesn't match, and someone told be that there could be a problem with the plug in code installed (that could be inserted in the wrong place)

If you do not already have a Google Analytics, so hopefully this will help you see how important this is a free tool to monitor your position, it was a blog, sales letter, website, online store, or any other thing for that matter. Analytics can easily say the number of visitors, unique visitors, and other basic information. But below are some more useful data types, you can easily analyze Once installed the Analytics.

There is no reason whatsoever not to rely on Google Analytics data, but there could be subtle differences with other tools due to reasons such a terminologies defined by them, tracking mechanism, cookies used, time zones and browser preferences. Do read more here:

You ought to believe Google Analytics.. may be 85%, because i've found more insightful data on various other free analytics tools & most of the data which is not available as of now on Google Analytics.

Google analytics works very well but i had some issues with quickly increased traffic as it doesn't catch all of it....Awstats showing different results and i believe is more accurate than google analytics...well...this is only my opinion
