    Hello all,

    I wonder if i can get a bit of help from someone please.

    I'm using the darkzen theme from wordpress for a new site i want to set up called AIMShares [.] com. I have a fair bit of content offline but before i start putting it up i wanted to put in my logo for the site.

    Now the fun part. I just can't seem to get the logo in the right place on the site.

    I'm using the editor in Wordpress to go to the header.php and had managed to include the logo BUT i cant seem to get the advertising banner to stay up in the grey area. Every thing i have tried has an adverse affect on the layout of the site lol (or at least the header part).

    This is the original code.

    <div id="header">
    <div class="headleft">
    <h1><a href="<?php echo get_settings('home'); ?>"><?php bloginfo('name'); ?></a></h1>
    <div class="description"><?php bloginfo('description'); ?></div>
    </div>
    <div class="headright"><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/images/ad.gif" border="0" title="insert title" alt="insert title" /></a>
    </div>

    </div>

    And this is what i have tried.

    <div id="header">
    <div class="headleft">
    <div id="logo">
    <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/images/Logo-A-4T.png" alt="" height="70px" width="283" />
    </div>
    <div id="nav">
    <ul>
    <div class="headright"><a rel="nofollow" href="#"><img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/images/ad.gif" border="0" title="insert title" alt="insert title" /></a>
    </div>

    </div>

    I have done variations of the above but can't seem to get what i need.

    I'm sorry for being a noob but i am trying :) at least i found out what to amend kind of lol.

    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Try adding a
    tag before the code that you want on the right or left and see if that works.

    If i understood your question, This will solve you problem!

    copy the below to the header.php..just replace the "header" div.

    now open style.css and locate "#header" and find "padding-top" change the value to 10px (this is to center the logo)

    and then locate ".headright and add padding-top:5px ( this is to center the add )

    Hello all,

    Thank you all for taking the time to respond. Thanks for your help with that one.

    I've used sudharsons code to insert the logo if you want to take a look (aimshares . com) but at the minute i cant click on the logo to go back to the homepage?

    Is there any way to keep the H1 tags?

    Many thanks for your help.

    Brilliant bhuthecoder. I have just done that and can click on it :). So does the loss of the H1 make much difference, i have learnt to believe that it loses some big points for onpage SEO? Or is that wrong.
