Can i achieve rankings by doing only directory and bookmarking

    Yes you can do it but depend upon keyword. But don't doing only directory and bookmarking because these link building activities don't give permanent back link. So do other activities like article, press release, forum, blog.

    It's not that easy to achieve a good ranking by only doing directory submission and social bookmarking, It's better to follow other methods like guest blogging, article submission to the article directories to get more backlinks to get our website/page rank high.

    it depend on how competitive it is for the keyword you wish to target.
    If it is high competitive, i would said it will not enough .
    You need more quality backlink like from those edu.sg and gov.sg. Try to post more article and guest post which give you a strong link back .
