    I dont think adding chittika is a problem in blogspot (in non contextual mode if used along with adsense).

    You can edit the template and place the chittika code accordingly.

    Go to templates option in blog
    and add the code where ever you want the ads to be displayed.
    Its simple :)
    Make sure you keep relevant ads to get a better CTR :)
