Can high PR no-follow Backlinks help in any way?

Just wondering if these would help my site. I think the only benefit would be indexing quick. and direct traffic

rumors say it's better to have no-follow backlinks to make our backlinks more natural.

In terms of indexing quickly it will have no effect as Google and other search engines actually 'skip' that link when crawling a website - they never see it.

Not all search engines use the nofollow tag. Also it makes your link building look more natural to google.

Yup. I think the No follow links may help.

Cause in google webmaster tools,I see that there's a back link to my site from Twitter.
and Twitter is no follow. Yet, there is my back link from twitter in g's webmaster tools.
So google ignored twitters no follow tag? well ok then. lol. Anyone know why?
and this is a new dot com site.. and wasn't on twitter when they were dofollow.

if your site doesn't have more than 20 links i think nofollow is a great option
but if your site have more than 20 link i think dofollow is the real option

but it is all up to you

Nofollow links will ensure that your linkbuilding quests are much more natural and that you're getting links from a variety of sources. In my opinion, regardless of the SEO value, it is still good to have them.

You should have a mix of all kind of links, no-follow may not help but does it hurt, NO.
Plus it helps in giving you link diversity, so go ahead and get it if you dont have to pay for it.

Id say any link is better than no link at all. If its a nofollow from a highly reputable source, what could be the harm?

The links in Yahoo Answers are No Follow, yet the ones I have created are still showing up as backlinks in Google Webmasters Tools. I've also noticed this with a couple of No Follow forums.

It counts to be included in a PR 7 authority site really in my opinion. But if you ask PR juices from it, it won't give you any drop. But it will sure naturally give you a substantial traffic gain which is also another way of developing your popularity both for the users and SEs since you'll be included as frequently visited link.
