Can Google plus beat facebook?

Google+ rocks! Hate the new thing require real names, though. Scary.

 

It's too early to tell whose going to be on top. Both have their strong side and both have great developer.

 

The main advantage about Google+ is that you need only one account to access so many different services, like gmail, analytic, webmaster tools, adsense, Google+ and you don't need to sign up to any other sites anymore. You can keep organized it within one account. This is huge advantage and that's why I believe that Google+ could take over Facebook over the time

That sort of mentality is bull.

MySpace came first before Facebook and was undeniably the better social networking site against a couple of sites such as Hi5, friendster and Orkut but was eventually defeated by Facebook. Don't think that just because Facebook came first doesn't mean that Google doesn't have any chance of defeating them. While most of us know that Google has already failed in their attempts to venture in the Social networking industry, Google+ might just be the one they need to actually fight with Facebook.

I think Google+ may have capability to beat facebook.

 

On the latest news, g+ user starting to leave, they stil prefer facebook or twitter to socialize on internet

 

Doesn't seems easy play for google this time... as hurting expectations they havn't served with any extravagant feature as compare to F.B ,,,, n the way faceboook is now part of common man life ...its not easy to snatch its bite.... Google reallly has to addd sumthing ASAP to get upper hand from F.B......

 

but in india still facebook is above google+ now a days.

 

I think Google + is a slightly different beast. While Facebook seems to cater to the old MySpace crowd, Google + seems to be the choice for bringing all things social together. Google + has far better business applications IMO.

 

Google Buzz and Google wave failed, but I think Google plus can make some succeed against Facebook. It has easiest privacy sitting at all. and already has millions of users awaiting.

I am sure Google Plus will beat facebook. Because within a quick period it gets more numbers of users. How long people will use same networks.

 

IF GOOGLE wants to beat facebook i dont think it'll be too hard for them to do..they have the resource and power..every adroid device,search engine,adwords,google maps and all the rest of em will be used to promote G+ easily,,but it dosent means people will begin to use facebook lesser

 

I think so, because people hate facebook even though they use it because every body's on there, even non-techie people.

Also I'm surprised that everyone I know heard about google+, which is pretty amazing since it's not even open to registration yet. I think facebook already has that myspace loser/oudated feel to it from my perspective, since lots of cool people do not use it anymore

Lastly they can count on people who have gmail, that's a big "plus", they're not starting from scratch.

 

Yes google+ will beat facebook. Within 2 year google+ will cross facebook traffic.

 

It really remains to be seen who will prevail in this social media war. Google+'s most intriguing feature is probably the idea of segmenting your friends into different categories. This enables people to limit the information that some people see which is a serious flaw with Facebook. Still, Google+ doesn't have that many features right now. They really need to grow and expand before it can be definitively said who will come out on top.

 

hmmm I don't know. Maybe...it'll take a while if it does, I think.
