I was just reading an article earlier today about how they setup their Google+ profile and never expected much from it but they have surpassed their number of followers on twitter on G+ now and. I am hearing in certain niches it is a very effective place to be. Now rather it will surpass Facebook that is a long way down the road and I imagine now that they have Google gunning for them they will start adding some nice features to the network to make sure they do not have too much competition.
It's a tough job for Google+ to beat FB. But what I believe Google has the potential to beat FB as a social media network. So keep the fingers crossed.
Hello Kvnfrnk, As you know facebook have very amazing feature but till now google is not able to provide such type of functionality if google plus provide such features whcich are in facebook then ofcourse one day it can beat facebook as social media site.
Facebook doesn't provide the security , it became easy for the hackers to hack the accounts. I think this is the main reason Facebook is losing its popularity!! Google Plus can beat Facebook!!
I dont believe it can, if it even had a chance it would have made a bigger impact thus far. I love google but FB is good at what they do.
Its tough to beat facebook because facebook already establish themselves a best social networking site.
Here in my country, Facebook remains to be on the top simply because our connections are already there and if we go to G+ then we are really starting from scratch with almost zero audience.
Facebook is no match for Google+ because of a single reason. And that reason has to do with the fact that Google has become a monopoly and can overtake any concept by emulating it.
No..... Now a days there is no chance to Google+ to over taken Facebook in social networking category. Because Facebook had a well settled platform and also FB users. They totally satisfied with Facebook. Their friends, family members. co-workers are settled in FB. They don't want to build an other profile for social networking.
MySpace and Multiply were also established social networks, but were easily replaced by a then smaller Facebook. These days anything is possible. I'm liking Google+ features so far, but Facebook beats it in terms of interactivity.
