Interesting observation. One of my websites which originally was ranked 1..3 for global US keywords is now ranked high only locally where the Google local place and Google+ page are registered. Is it possible that having a Google local place sends Google a wrong signal to rank the website high only locally? Has anybody else had the same issue?
