I have created a number of Flash slide shows and wonder how best to make certain they are indexed. Any solutions?

They were working with adobe to come up with a solution to index flash files, but at the moment, it's still hard to do so. HTML is still the best for search engines at the moment.

Google should not index flash pages.

However, there are seo toolbars that allows you to see how google index your page in text.

    (seoquake for example)

Google started reading flash content for some time now. However it just doesn't work as good as other sites.

Google have already improved and keeps on improving it's capabilities in indexing flash based websites since more than a year.

YES, Google can and will index Flash Files SWF.. but it always depends on the flash file content it self :)

Take a look at this official post by Google here.

I use a normal html page with Flash embedded, this way Google find the text and images. My concern is that Adobe will add this to a future version of Flash, I would like something that could be added to existing .swf files.

Google joined Adobe systems to improve indexing flash content due to numerous requests. Check what Ron Adler say's about improved flash indexing in Google Webmaster Central

google does index some flash, but for a site is a really bad idea as you can not get a lot of info out of a flash file.
