I think I discovered a Mini-Net / Linkfarm ?

My questions are:
Is this a mini-net / linkfarm ?
Can Google detect this Mini-net and penalize this websites?

yes google can detect spam....in my email account they filter all the spam and they moved it in one folder...

 

defo some kind of link farm but not a very good one as the backlinks seem to be in the format domain.com/hop.php?site=1 etc....?

 

You're right about that. There're more then 1000 sites like these.

 

I don't think Google can detect this kind of spam.

Every website is different only a human can detect this.

I checked the Whois information and the websites are more then a year old.

So I believe Google can't find this spam.

imho i don't think google can find this. Think about the abstract level that google has to meet. Then, again, think about this quite (more or less) particular site that spams... Very hard to achieve the antispam goal without banning valid sites...

 

But what can I do about this ? It's almost impossible to compete with them.

 

Do what you are supposed to do: build links, fresh content, etc. Eventually google will notice these sites and will ban them. After that all that will remain will be your sites with high SERPS .
Also you could put on your pages a script like iframe breakout: here

There are also some other advanced / complex methods like checking for user agent, referrer, ip and stuff. But i think this is too complicated for this problem. Maybe the easiest solution is the better one: try to write to google and tell them about this ( screenshots etc included). And continue what you are doing... If they were so good as you say why they don't mirror some other big sites ?

Usually this type thing gets shut down on google eventually as they're continuously refining their filters. But I'm not surprised its getting by for a while.
