Even if Google can now read text and follow links within flash files, I think you should probably still include text link navigation. You still want the other search engines to be able to navigate throughout your website.
If it is what I read, he has placed the "SEO text" in a <noscript> block. But it could also then be consider hidden text. Until Google can read and process the internal navigation of a Flash object, then this is still BS. And we have been doing the <noscript> SEO for 3 years now. The site your are referring to uses a HTML/CSS page that has an imbedded Flash object. Anyone can do that.... You must SEO the internals of the Flash object.

yes, Google can now read through a flash site... so now, every website (either flash based or not) are well known by Google, and indexed it for future use.
