Ok I am trying to build links to one of my sites. So I built a forum on one of my sites. Then I'm using this service to get more back links: http://www.jetconvo.com/index.php I'm using the site I want to gte backlinks in the singature. So I was wondering if this is good or bad. If its bad can my site thats in the signature get blocked or my site that has the forum get blocked?
jet convo takes questions from yahoo answers and makes a thread, all the answers are then used as replies. making each user a member and every question they asks makes a thread by other users who do the answering. its not a script or anything. I just signed up for them and they do something where its automatically but I dont have anything on my server that does it for me
That could be seen as duplicate content. Also, a lot of the timing would be close together. I assume that they would be able to infer that this is not something human done after awhile.
does it work the way it looks? it seems like it would be nothing but alot of duplicate content all over the net, which is a very bad thing if that is the case, it seems to me that it would be a useless service
I don't see any sense in using the same content over again. You are not adding any new value to the content you are picking from Yahoo Answer. So its really bad for your seo efforts
do you think the software can make your forum look busy and populated, so real human visitors will be more likely to register after some time?

Google doesn't necessarily ban you for it, but if a site is seen as having too much duplicate content then I have seen them drop really badly in the search index and googlebot even stops coming around as often
