I own several hundred 1 page websites and many of them are interlinked. I am interested in installing Google Analytics on these web pages but I'm worried Google will then realize all these websites have one owner and penalize me. Does Google use information they gain from Google Analytics to effect SERPs?
No issue will cause by installing google analytic.. bcz its give u only report on traffic and will not crawl the site
They're probably all on the same server anyway which google shouldn't penalise you for so I wouldn't think using analytics will harm you in any way.
Not at all. Analytics gives you report on your traffic and so on. Being use to analytics nothing won't harm you. Google has some other ways to find the ownership and all, i guess.
Well, here's my thinking. I pay for special SEO optimized hosting and have my websites spread out over 125 different Class C IPs so they are in no way related in Googles eyes (other than the linking). I'm worried that if I add a.com, b.com, c.com & d.com to the same Google Analytics account, Google will see that and say "hey, all these websites are actually related" and the value of my back links will go down. Is anyone here 110% sure Google won't use this information against me?
Absolutely! Even though they will never admit it. Services like that help them being the number one search engine. Don't run Google Analytics on gray hat sites (and black hat obviously).
No one can be 100% sure, but if you wanted to be extra safe you could always use a web statistic service other than Google there are many good ones out there.
