Can google alert me whenever I lose a google backlink?

Hi all,

As we all know we can create google alert for our site that whenever we get a google backlink google sends us an email and inform us.

Is there any way that whenever we lose a google backlink google should inform us as well?

Do you have any idea?

I think you were a bit confused there. There's no way google is going to send email to inform whenever you get a backlink. Imagine how many emails they have to send whenever there's a backlink added.

However, you can use google alert to keep track of any topic on the web related to your niche and stay ahead on the latest information. That will allow you to potentially create a linking partner and leave a comment with backlink created.

The service was never meant to inform about backlink in the first place but its purpose is to help you establish strong backlinks based on info given.

never heard of google will send us emails and inform us that we are gaining backlinks.. And i guess google wont give us email informing that were losing our backlinks.. that's a bid odd though.. If that scenario will gonna happen, then I'll be very glad on it! imagine, google cares on webmasters though we know they don't right from the very start.

 

Yea, google DO send us email whenever we get backlinks.

All you have to do is to create a google alert from this page http://www.google.com/alerts

Type this > link:www.yoursiteurl.com
and select AS IT HAPPENS from the How Often field.

This way, whenever your site will get a new backlink google will send you an email and inform you about that.

 

well, if you want to buy links and check if the sites still have your links there, you could get Seo Elite 4 and that software will show you if those sites are still linking to you.

 

As I get the google alerts, they show you, when someone searches for the term that you specify. So, if I put in link:www.yourwebsite.com, then I will get an alert, when someone looks for all the links on my website, not when a link gets added...

 

Ya sure .. Goolge will send a mail to you before they remove your backlinks..... and if you have any problem , you can say , please dont remove my back link now...
