If i get a service of 300 quality links to a my webpage (outsourced job) which are from links to sites similar to my niche. Then 2 months later, buy 100 links from high pagerank sites, (from another outsource service) Then get With links pointing to your site, i know its quantity of links which can increase rankings(along the other onpage factors etc), but can getting MORE and MORE links from a different variety of sources hinder/hurt your rankings of your site? For eg, in 1 year if you have 500 links pointing to your webpage(for the same keyword), and they come from different sources and your page ranks HIGH for that keyword, and you want to get 300 more for that keyword.... could getting these 300 NEW links Lower your SE ranking, aswell as increase it? or is there a high chance of your rankings being increased if you get 300 more new links ? so, can a variety of different NEW links to your page hurt your rankings? aswell as increase rankings? If hurt, give some details how ... thanks
If you are buying 100 links from high pr sites, just one of those links being identified as a "bought link" can hurt your rankings. Now I know there are going to be people here who disagree with me, but I can tell you firsthand that even bought nofollowed links pointing to your site can knock you right out of Google's serps. What you are attempting to do needs to be done in moderation. You talk about a site having a total of 500 links pointing to it in the first year, but then you are going to add 300 more in a few months - 100 of which will be high PR links. The question is what has changed on the site (content) to cause so many high pr sites to link to it? Google has tolerance towards sites it trusts. Moving to quickly could jeopardize that trust. There has to be a ratio around the forums regarding high PR links. For example, for every PR4 link pointing to your site you should have at least 200 PR 0 links. It's about looking like natural linking habits. If 33% of your new links are all high PR, that may be an issue. By not varying the anchor text, that also risks throwing up a red flag. If you can vary that text slightly, it may help you rank for other keywords as well as your primary target. Plus, it will look natural. In a nutshell, 300 new links pointing to your site should help. But if they don't look natural, you may be throwing the baby out with the bath water...
