    After so many free image hosting sites already in the market do you think that it can be a profitable idea to start a free image hosting site? What can be the methods except adsense?

    Any help appreciated.

    CPM is the only way you can make a tiny bit of money
    i dont think one can make more than 2-5 bucks/day except if u get a paid advertiser
    lets hear from someone else who actually owns one

    I used to own one..had it for about 6 months then sold it. It doesnt make much. People are not interested in clicking on any ads. They come for 1 thing and thats to upload their photos. Unless you get thousands of hits and use a good CPM affiliate i wouldnt bother with it.

    anywho, dont bother :p you have to get some sort of deal with a website to go anywhere :D

    If you find one go bother places like myspace and offer them image hosting or sumthing like that :p

    Simple -- there are paid hosting services (rare since most are free) and the free ones usually run ads (CPM or some CPC or affiliate CPA) around the images. If hot-linking is allowed, then its a major BW killer. Here is one I use: http://www.imagebam.com
