    Hi,

Can the PR of a blog increase if we put pictures from good PR sites like flickr or picassa ? I mean is there any difference between putting an image in our blog using the link from the flickr website and putting the link to an image that we have uploaded in our server from our computer ?

    Pls help me with this.

    Thanks

Pr is mainly determined by the number of links linking to your site and a number of onpage factors too. Having images helps google understand what your site/page is about and can make your page more relevant, but i don't think it will boost your pagerank by having lots of images on a site.

Overall I don't think it would matter if the image was from flickr or uploaded from your computer.

Actually my question was like this :-

Which option is better for PR :-

1- If i want to put an image - then putting it by uploading it to my server and linking to the image that is in my server - is this better OR

2- if i want to put an image , then uploading it to flickr , or finding a similar one in flickr and then linking to that image - is this better to have good PR OR both methods are same ?

    Pls help

    thanks
