I am not living in US and I wonder I could register .us domains. Someone said no problem but when I check their terms and conditions, these domains are only for the people in US. Any idea?
The are restricted to US citizens and there is a provision about "US interests" but I don't recall the particulars. I wnat to say companies from out of the states that market in the states. But don't trust my memory on that part.
It is essentially restricted to US residents. You may find a registrar or reseller who is not strict about this but you run the risk of losing the domain down the road if some one complains.
