Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the payment processing website/service known as ePassporte. If so could I please have some feedback? 1) For those IT guys out there can you look at the website: https://www.epassporte.com/ and tell me what you think of the security as well as the whole legitmacy of the site in general? 2) How easy is it to take money out of an account there? 3) Has anyone run into any issues with this service? If so please explain. Just hoping to get as much information I can for a friend of mine. She wants to enroll into this service but I don't want her to be burned. I greatly appreciate all of your assistance in this matter. Thanks ahead for your time.
Yes, I have been using ePassporte for almost 2 years now. I was first introduced to it by Regsoft.com as Digital River was using ePassporte as one of the options to pay its shareware developers which I am one. So far I have had no trouble with them when it comes to taking my money out. Well, if a huge organization such as Digital River trust it, I am sure they did their checks before partnering up. I even have a Digital River branded ePassporte Debit Card. This is the press release by Digital River http://www.digitalriver.com/corporate/press_releases/pr_464.shtml about their partnership. They have two types of accounts, the Virtual Visa and the Visa Electron Debit card. If you have the later, it is just a matter of spending the funds in the card as a Debit/Credit Card in the stores or popping the card in the ATM machine which supports PLUS and you can get your money. If you only have the virtual visa, you do not have a physical card so you could either spend it and if you are in the US, transfer the funds to your bank account.
Thanks Eddy2099, I do have a question for you in regards to Epassporte. How easy was it to apply? What type of information do you need to supply besides the standard address, name, and such? Thanks again for the information thus far!
In my case, it was quite difference as I had Digital River as my sponsor so I did not need to go through the verification process as they only offered the card option to long term customers. However, from what I understand, after you apply the epassporte card, you need to do a verification much like the Moneybooker method in which they will charge your credit card a small amount and then you need to verify the account with whatever they charge and that should activate your account. This https://www.epassporte.com/secure/jsp/Questions.jsp#EPASSPORTEAUTHENTICATIONPROCESS should answer your question.
yeah I am using them and have no problems with them. Its just that I have a daily limit on withrawing funds in an atm machine. But overall its ok. If you need some funds in epassporte I can accept e-gold. Up to 2500$
it's very trustworthy. most adult affiliate sites use them to payout vs paypal since paypal doesn't accept adult traffic. great business model and great customer service. try them out
