Can emailing of a subdomain affect your domain?

    Hi,

I work for a fashion ecommerce site and we have decided to change email sending client to one that provides a dedicated ip address. However for the best results they have recommended we send our emails using a subdomain of our website domain. e.g. mail.eshop.com

There is not much information on the affect of sending bulk emails from your domain but i have heard that this could affect your domain and in worse cases blacklist it on Google.

If anyone has any information on this i would highly appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Mike

Wait, do you have an opt in list you built, or just a random list of people to mail to?

    Hi annamolly777,

Yes we have built up a customer list and monitor email bounces and opt outs very carefully.

    Thanks
