Can DP give more control over review sales on services??

    Hi,
I often find when I sell a service here on DP at review price that 3 out of 10 times a member will not bother to return to thread to leave a review and will just forget about it, but will have enjoyed the same service at a reduced cost.

Obviously you could say 'member must have X amount of iTrader or X amount of Posts to get a review copy', But I wonder if DP could install a function to the forum for more control over reviews.

For example the ability to add a 'purchase review' button to the thread. If a member wants a review copy then using this button logs the request to review and sends a PM to the OP who then confirms review taken when payment is sent, and the ability to set a deadline for the review between 1-30 days.

If the member purchasing the review doesnt leave one then they should pick up infractions or -rep for not reviewing the service.

Maybe this feature is a bit over the top, but i think it would help for many of the members selling services here on DP.

let me know your thoughts. Thanks

I like that buy a review idea, however here is my little addition to it.

Most people will not care about an infraction, so why not just charge them full price if they do not review within that time.

Honestly, it is a good idea but the moderators will not even considerate it. Look at the forum for instance, it uses a default theme and the same logo even though people have offered to do stuff for free! I doubt this stuff will even be looked at, we can always try though!

Looks like another closed thread ( mods are not responsible about these things ).

    Won't happen.

DP does not involve itself in matters of the BST.

You deal at your own risk in the BST, and something like this will never be introduced here.

Personally speaking, I'm not a great fan of the review system here. Some people review a product, say it is a 9/10 ( for money making products), and then go to another thread and ask for review copies for another money making e-book or product.

I'm doing the same and yes, I truly can say that I've never tried to put them in action ! I've tried them all, they all are working and great, but that's not for me .. I've my own job and have no time for playing around with all these "methods" I've a lot of experience in internet marketing ( not a guru yet :p ) and that's exactly why I love to take a chance to review something :)

Thanks for the responses so far.
I understand that DP wont introduce anything as they cant be responsible for the BST sections.
Its a shame really, but I dont see that it cant be done? Add a disclaimer but why not treat your many forum members to extra features such as this?

Simply because it won't be done. That is all the explanation a mod will give and that is all the explanation I can give. Sure, it would make the forum better but honestly they are not going to do anything about it.

Well, this is not gonna happen. All you can do is give him red rep and bad itrader which will surely be paid back.
