Can (dot).me domains rank well in google?

    There is a trust factor there. IMO dot com definitely the best for ranking and dot net & org next.

    actually I must say that .me seems to be much harder to optimize SPEAKING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. i also did notice something strange in this regard. i think most of the replies to this post, if not all of them above, are made by people who do not have experience with .me and have not made experiments with .me optimization.

    Previously I have confusion that .info site don't rank well on Google, as like .com domain. But its really no any issue of domain extension. Google rank any website, just do natural work on your website.

    This extension seems appropriate for mostly 'personal' websites that feature the site owner. For business I still love .COM.

    no matter which domain extension , you can beat .com and rank well as long your content is quality enough than the .com site.

    if using .uk , google wil know that your site is base in UK and trying to target UK traffic so they will rank you better in google.co.uk

    Google has changed its algorithm, no matter what domains (except free domains) you will have good rank if you has good content. I owned some .info domains and it's really better than other .COM.
