Can domains on GoDaddy.com be transfered ?

    Can domains, websites, etc hosted on GoDaddy.com even be transferred to other domain hosting places ?

    I noticed the folowing info comes up when I do a 'who is' check of my domains listed on Godaddy.com

    Name Server: NS19.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
    Name Server: NS20.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

    Status: clientTransferProhibited
    Status: clientUpdateProhibited
    -----------------------------

    Notice the one line states Transfer Prohibited

    Sure they can, disregard the status lines, you can do all that in your domain control panel

    you can push the domain for free to another godaddy custumer, you can transfer it out using auth key (but only after domain is at least 60 days old), you can host the site somewhere else by setting dns servers to your new host
