    Am I? LoL :D

I am not involved with any scripts. If you are referring to my phpLD mods, they are no longer mine although I do help out supporting them.

LoL, Not sure, sorry! thought you were heavily involved with phpld which would of course be a conflict of interest as I don't want to be seen to be stealing their programmers. :D

Nice one, so with your suggestion wouldn't it be easier to just use ioncube licencing? Along with perhaps some other methods of protection? I don't expect (or don't want) the answers here SS, if you do have some good ideas I'd love to hear them.

Ioncube alone will never good. It's good if you work as freelancer, but as 'product' developer you need a real good back end to support your client. There are plenty of issues must be handled that you might not see before.

    - if you use ioncube alone, and lock the domain/ip/mac address, how if the customer move to other server? do you compile them again? how boring if you have hundreds or thousands customer

    - how if the client transfer the license to other person, you need to keep them in record and validate the transfer

    - how if you sell license for bulk domain or server wide? how do you manage this alone with ioncube?

    - ...etc.

There are plenty more you will encounter later. As I told you before, you may try licensing system like phpaudit and ioncube or zend encoder (but i prefer ioncube).

Ok, i finish here and no longer make it too long. I think it's not a proper forum, and I seem talk too much! ;)

Well that was really annoying, I guess they were deserving to be punish for the scam they have done.
If I were on your position I just don't know what I'm going to do.. except to get really mad for taking advantage
    of my work..

The idea is not to get mad but get even.

@seokicker; Issuing a new licence takes seconds. Haven't got a clue what your on about when you say moving is boring, its the same regardless of the script being coded or not.
