    In craigslist TOU it says:

    d. If you post Content in violation of the TOU, other than as described
above, you agree to pay craigslist one hundred dollars ($100) for each
Item of Content posted. In its sole discretion, craigslist may elect
to issue a warning before assessing damages.

Does this mean that if you post many of the same ads everyday they could charge you 100 dollars for each ad?

Theoretically, yes they can try to get cash out of you if you piss them off. More than likely, you'll get banned first. If you keep trying to get around the ban, then they will send their lawyers after you. But their lawyers cost them money, banning you does not. So it is easier for them to just ban you

Looks like I am done posting on craigslist... One of my accounts are on hold. I about threw up reading the TOU where they said they could charge you a bunch of money.

Hope they don't come knocking at my door. I have learned my lesson.

I wish more spammers would read that and start posting appropriately.

You can post on CL, just follow the rules.

I don't think they will actually waste their time to charge you the 100 dollars it would cost them more to find you and get their lawyers. Youll just get banned

I highly doubt that they would actually go through the efforts to sue people over this.

How are they going to get you though? Will they be willing to spend the time and money to track you down? It would depend also on what exactly you did. Personally, I wouldnt worry.
