If all you do is throw CPA banner ads on your site, chances are you will see no action. The people who make money on CPA (not me, by the way) know what they are doing and write content around text links.
if your a beginner go to sharecash. if you became a pro go for a CPA network it gives you more money than sharecash but signing up is a pain

CPA is one of the fastest ways to earn money, but you must be able to spend less than what you earn, because traffic is becoming more expensive as we speak. And you need high quality traffic to get conversions (CPC, targeted email marketing, etc.) that usually is VERY expensive. I have managed to spend $80 to earn $100 with MaxBounty and, believe me, I tried almost EVERY kind of traffic source out there. In other words, I would not suggest you to start with CPA, because you must be prepared to invest some serious money before you get some results. IMHO
I can see positive and negative response for CPA offerings... with which we shall go on is still a dilemma. Some earn some just hate it. What to do?

It depends on the demand for the product you promote. CPA is not important as it's only a tool like CPM, CPC, text links, etc.
It all depends on where you get your traffic, what your offer is and how much you pay for it. Really it depends on those three factors. I would suggest CPA for newbies or anyone looking to make a decent dollar but, to look at non traditional methods to get better ROI
Cpa is definitely not hard. if you seen my E-book then you know that I actually give real proof of making money over night using only email submits. You have to find a targeted audience, Thats very easy to do. people are everywhere. Go find them. For some reason people have this thing in their mind that they just can't get someone to type in their email or zip but trust me its quite easy if you ask me.
Ofcourse they do, so many people are making serious money with it, ofcourse some loose a lot of money too.
you need to get the site very well established on the market before getting them settled. its not a week, or one month work...
My pet hate is when you visit a site and the content is blocked and you are forced to fill out a CPA survey in order to unlock the content. I'm not alone when I say this kind of 'blackmailing' annoys the heck out of me.
Of course, you can make ton of money promoting CPA offers. There is one guy in Ads4Dough that makes $90M in 1 year alone. Crazy, right? HAHAHA!
