Can coop backlinks boost up the PR? - and possible tricks when selling the domains

    Hi!

I was wondering whether the PR can grow rapidly if you point your weight to some your website. If it can go high then you could put the website on sale e.g on ebay and claim that the website has e.g PR 3.

After somebody buys the domain, then you can point your points elsewhere and the original website looses PR. Do you think it is possible? If yes, how can the potential buyers protect from this situation?

I know there exist some fake PR tools, but I think they will not report fake PR because the PR is completely valid at the time of the checking.

    Thanks,

    Janusz

It is common for the suave buyer to check the backlinks. Such a buyer will also confirm with the seller about the permanence of the backlinks. In any case, when you are buying a site, you are hoping to get the backlinks too. So, look through the list of backlinks carefully to ensure that a lot of them seem organic.

I guess checking backlinks carefully is the only way how to ensure that backlinks will not be gone after you buy a domain. Now you can distinguish Coop, LinkVault and other link exchange networks. But what if there will be some networks which links will very hard to spot - in that case it is quite a risk to buy a site. I understand that Coop links are easy - you can just refresh the page and see if the links are the same - but e.g Linkvault with static links - that could be skinned in some nice way :)
