Hi. I am somewhat new to the online marketing scene, but I think I see a fundamental flaw in Googles, and the other crawler systems. It seems to me that with the right content genearator bot - one capable of doing it all - linking, networking, account creator bots, posting bots, coherent sentence genoration, automatic directory structuring, content "grabber" etc. - that with something like this made user-friendly enough, that almost anyone could optimize a huge network of websites... Um, is that a good thing? I know Google and other Search companies have algorythms that are supposed to detect that sort of thing, but I really dont think it will work, provided that Search engines stick with crawler bots. Because see, if the optimization software were designed correctly, the content and linking structures would appear "organic", or as though generated by a human. Umm... like if it had a vast dictionary that showed it how words "work", synonyms, nouns, verbs, adverbs,... even relatedness and .. symbolic meaning... then that would effectively end content scanning. You could even automate and semi-randomize formatting, so that ... you get the idea. I think eventually that will happen. Google will have to go PPC exclusevely, or manually approve sites - but even then - with an intelligent content generator, I don't think that would work. Granted it would be a difficult task, but I think that such software can developed. If it were made available to the public.... ummmm ..... firestorm?
I don't want to. All I want to do is get reasonable exposure. But what I'm saying is that this can be done, and whoever does it will unleash hell on the way search engines work.
a content generator...? im not sure if someone can do that... i still prefer human composed content/article... maybe a content checker...
Sure it can be done, and you can use google to assist in your contect "grabbing"... I prefer human stuff too. But Google doesn't care, or not entirely anyway.
They already have page generators, phrase generators and auto-optimizing software. All I'm saying is that if it were slightly more organic, applying a few rules and utilizing content from other pages to assist, that a content-analysis based crawl would be ... pointless.
The only weekness of an auto-content generators in the eyes of the search engine, is that it can do nothing about page age. But with account creator bots for um, blogger, wordpress, any other blog site, any other social network, or anything on which you can post indexed content, then the contect on those pages doesnt all come from the same source, and wouldn't trigger any flags - I think. They probably do it by domain name, or subdomain or some combination of things.
one thing is for certain - this doesn't work - directdiscstores.com/pdfcreator the content is too repetitious and it's all formatted the same. the directory structure is predictable, and all the doorway pages are roughly the same size.
