can click price fall 60% in one day??

    hello,
    i have a new english website that used to have a very low ctr. i made some ads design changes and the ctr raised sharply.
    the problem that after ctr increased the click price decreased to the base .is there any explanation

    last thing i had in my account a non english website that have very very low click price and ,can this bad website affect the whole account??:(

    it is approved the click price is reduced sharply in all ad units help please quickly, I just checked the reports again

    It is usual. For no reason my eCPM is now by EUR 1 less than in August. Traffic is raising, CTR is same. Earning per click went from EUR 0.13 to EUR 0.08. It sucks quite a lot :) . Back in May or June eCPM has grown instead. No reason at all...

    Maybe Google has to show increase of net profit once again ;) .

    A lot has to do with the economy and what you are selling. Compared to a year ago the bids are going to be a lot less on some niches like luxury items (the value can drop rapidly from day to day) and a lot higher on niches like investing in gold (the value of those clicks can go up a lot from week to week).

    Another thing to keep in mind with your redesign is that you might be getting more clicks on the second or third listings now because they might be more visible, that brings down your average.
