Can bookmarking develop link?

    it does help in promotions, bookmarks are huge networks, higher the hits you get more popular you are on top sites like digg, technorati etc. there are many around who even exchange the hits here at dp.

    they will help you but you must check "nofollow" . if there is nofollow in their link, it will not help your google seo. for example, technorati and delicous are using nofollow. they will not help your seo

    true you only get traffic no pr from these. wont be any help to increase your search engine rankings

    Actually if people visit your website through a bookmarking service and they like it some might put a link on their website. It's happened with our website OurEcoHouse.

    Even, if there was no "nofollow" in bookmarking sites' links, the links wouldn't be worth a lot, SE-wise...

    Social bookmarking can help boost traffic for the site and as well help in promoting of your site. Additionally, as people bookmark resources that they find useful, resources that are of more use are bookmarked by more users.

    Yahoo answers get picked up by yahoo as a link. But the pages your question and answer is on doesn't have the same amount link pr that the home page has. So yes you can get links and traffic. How much will raise you pr not much.

    if rel=nofollow is not there then social bookmarking helps a lot in seo ranking.

    yes, bookmark will increase traffic , also in several bookmarking you will get backlink

    i have try with one new site, after PR update , i get pr 4, pr 5 and minimum PR 3
    backlink come from Bookmarking site only
