Can bold/highlighting a keyword help ?

    Bolding certain important keywords and phrases that you want to rank for can help and helps to get the search engines to place a little more emphasis on those keywords, so definitely do it - just don't go overboard.

    This is one of the few important things you must have in your content....especially if you're doing SEO for your website or blog. Aside from making it bold, your keywords within the content should have:

    1. 2% keyword density
    2. Underlined
    3. Italicized
    4. H1, H2 and H3 tag (keyword must be present)
    5. Keyword must be present in the title tag and the article title.
    6. Keyword must be included in the image alt tag, internal and external domain.
    7. Keyword must be present in the first and last sentence of the article.
