A blind person who was born sighted can see their dreams. A person who is blind at birth only hear sounds and voices.
That's actually something very interesting to think about. What can someone conceptualize with their mind if they've never had anything to base it off of?
I'm not sure they can. I believe they have there own perception on what people and things look like. I would think there dreams are much different from ours.
It's visualizing not viewing per se; how we mentally see a picture. I think it doesnt too much differ from blind to a person who has eyes, except the fact that a blind person has his way of visualizing that must be different (IMPO)
of course they can see their visual dreams if they have already seen some forms and shapes and persons but if they haven't seen nothin in their life they can't dream
The dreams are that the things we already have seen in real. If blind people never have seen a real Dog, how they can see it in dreams. Can you see some color you never seen?
I agree it's in bad taste but it does make me wonder. Everyone here has made good points and it's food for thought. How can one dream about something he or she has never seen. It's said that we only remember a small portion of all our dreams so maybe we are dreaming of things that we have never seen but only remember bits of it that are familiar to us.......I'm getting dizzy.
Yes, blind people can see, hear, and feel dreams just like any other person who is sleeping. Now I wonder if one can sleep with your eyes open.
