    the only thing I do not like about astore is that unless I use a frame its URLs do not match my domain's URL

    is there a way to CNAME this or some other script that will allow you use you own domain?

    None that I know of. I am pretty sure the only way to get an astore on your domain would be to embed it on your website or blog.

    I have an adult toy store that I set up using a masked domain name. Without using frames, all you do is at your registrar, take your domain name and forward it to your aStore addy and then enable the domain masking. It allows you to set up keywords, title, and description relevant to your aStore;

    Check it out mine: Adult Toys

    I tried to get the StoreBrander to work and all I am seeing is the exact same site I have before and all of the links are still going to Amazon. How did you get your mixer site to work like that?

    Salam n Hola

    Domain forwarding (as the one you did with the adult toys) with masking actually uses frames. Try to view the source file of your adult toy site in your browser.

    As for StoreBrander, I just completed the configuration as required by StoreBrander. Did you set the CNAME settings for your domain or subdomain to point to StoreBrander as they require? Do note that the CNAME modification might require a day or two for the DNS settings to propagate through out the Internet.

    You will be notified once your StoreBrander site is ready.

    Can't you just register a domain, and in your domain control panel, redirect it to your astore URL? I believe that is what was suggested.

    Thanks kodee,
    That was very helpful.
    Now maybe I'll try an astore.
    Do they (astores) get indexed well by the SE's?

    No. They have no content, just products that are duplicated on sites all over the internet.
    You will have to direct link to it with articles, links from other websites, blogs posts, forum sigs, etc.
