Can anyone tell me how to copyright images on my website?

I have several images on my website that I wish to protect, either prevent people downloading them to prevent people suing them to copy my product.

Can anyone give me an idea how to do this, please?

This is the copywriting forum, not the copyrighting forum
You don't have to copyright your images, unless you've signed the rights away, you own the rights to your work.
You can use a javascript to stop people right-clicking, but it won't really stop anyone.

Its the internet, there is no real way to stop it. People are going to take them, just watch your traffic log and see if anyone is viewing just the image itself (www.yourdomain.com/yourimage)
