Hi everybody Today I just try about tranfer domain on Godaddy acc.I do already ok but now take long time to receive new domain 1. acc 1 >>> login and goto domain panel and use "account change" (I unlock already) 2. acc 2 >>> login and goto Accept Account Change and fill code from mail. Question 1.How long time to receive new domain .I ever buy domain from anyone i remember it complete in a minute. 2.Today Goddady can transfer. Thanks Sompong
The entire process can take as little as 2 hours if you and the other party are both online, reading email and following directions.
Hi Thanks a lot.I wait more 2 hour and Status on my domain is still "Changing Account is process" .About acc1 (Acc1 transfer domain to acc 2) I do 2 step as below .This is correct? 1. unlock domain 2. Account Change Thanks
It should not take more then 2 hours but remember the nameservers, you will have to allow 24 - 48 hours to change.
If you are transferring the domain from account to account inside GoDaddy. It shouldn't take more than a hour. Though sometimes it might take up to 24 hours. If the seller and the buyer are both online, it normally takes less than a few minutes. And I believe you don't really have to unlock the domain for change account within GoDaddy, unless it is to transfer the domain out of GoDaddy then you will have to unlock. I am not quite sure of the situation though. I don't know if you are the one that is receiving the domain or transfer the domain to someone else. Anyways, good luck
Thanks for everybody.Today i can do complete. It easy to transfer.About can not complete because I do not check out domain. About when I fill complate transaction and code already.I must check out the domain in 0.00 $ too. Thanks eveybody.Good time to access in digitalpoint forum .have many people can help me.I will do same you in next time
That is one of the little quirks that make people speak ill of GD. Having to checkout and pay $0 for your domain to complete the transfer. I imagine it some kind of security issue. They could do a little better job of explaing that. I found it a little weird the first time I had to do it.
Yes .Godaddy not have a explain to about process transfer. And they email still old format .Many people can not find menu for start to transfer domain.I must capture Picture to explain. Not profressional about godaddy.com but it good site.
I live in **AZ ..and it almost ..immediate..but for the rest a few hrs this sounds like a ISP issue ..sometimes the box just get stuck ..lol ( godaddy is in AZ ) hahah
Transfers have always seemed instant to me. It's the transfer between registrars that grinds on and on.
