hi all seo geeks :), can anyone of you help me overcome this problem for good, i desperately am in need of some suggestion advise or atleast if you know or could make a guess about why the google has been decreasing my search results...

i'll explain it this way e.g ; i have a site called abc.com 1 month back google was giving me something like 1500 results when i searched the abc.com in the google.

but now it's been very rapidly coming down and just shows me like 261 results when i make a search for my domain, can't understand

why even despite of the fact that the seo & directory submission, links building of my site is going at a fair pace and have submitted my site to something like 1000 directories in last 15 odd days, but google doesn't show me any good result

and even the traffic has affected my google analytics was coming up with something like 200 visitors everyday now has declined to 20 :(...

    please assist me friends.

    Your URL?

I think Google penalize your website

    Directory submission is the reason

It sounds like you might've been penalized for getting too many links too fast. 1000 directories in 15 days is excessive and would not look natural to Google. You need to build links gradually.

As for your number of indexed pages going down, your other pages are probably ending up in Google's supplemental index.

Google does give new websites a temporary free pass. Perhaps your free pass has run out.

Submit 1000 in 15 days is not a case i think. those 1000 dirs not gonna approves all links that fast.
is it brand new site? I mean less than 1 year? if yes, surely your site's SERPs will dance a lots. just keep on building links you should be fine.

You must be patient when it comes to seo, it will take a while before you can see
the benefits, you should focus on building backlinks and your traffic will stabalize
    as your site ages.

Yep I also think that it's the large number of links you've built too quickly. It should come back with time but it's impossible to say how long that will be.

    Here is the tip :

Avoid urls like this -> www.example.com/index.php or www.example.com/index.asp

    use www.example.com/index.html

This will dramatically increase your site reputation for google.

    How old is your site?

If its a new site, then the traffic you used to get was because of the new content boost.

Google give a New Content Boost to new pages and new sites, this boost helps them rank high in search results. But this boost is only temporary.

You need to build relevant backlinks and more content in order to get stable traffic from google.

Submitting links to 1000s of directories will not help much as google will only count few[10 or so] links from them.

I did 1000+ submission for a site a year ago, but I only saw about 10 links from those directories in webmaster tools.
