can anyone suggest good books for SEO? I've found decent websites, but when it comes to content quality, books are still on average better than what you get online...as they say, you usually get what you pay for.

it moves so fast, I wouldn't bother with a 'book' as such. Hang out on the forums in order to keep 'ahead of the curve'.
there are so many books available in free and paid also for SEO. but i just suggest you read forum every day and check what is question for other member and what other people help them so you can learn so many things from forum rather than book.
for basic you can read the Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide developed by Google or subscribe to the paid version of seobook.com it will surely help..
