Having lots of problems with godaddy. Can anyone suggest an alternative with similar features and pricing?

I only use Godaddy and NameCheap as both of them are great in services / support. Therefore, Namecheap would be my recommendation :)

NameCheap is another choice for you. If you have friends who register domain name, you can approach them. They sure have good pricing...

I use Moniker! Where they allow you to buy a domain to test traffic and delete after 96 hours!

Namecheap charges for privacy after the 1st year is over.

You can save on orders with godaddy using the code hash3

I use all 3 & moniker gets my vote.

GoDaddy Charges $4.99 per privacy from the first year onwards. Namecheap charges $2.88 per domain or less if you order the bigger pack.

Yeah I felt kinda deceived when I discovered the first year is free, then you're charged freaking 4.99 per domain when I placed a bulk order.

This function is also available at RegisterFly.However, I have heard that Moniker is a very good registrar service offering good deals from time to time

I've used stargate to varying degrees of satisfaction over the years. They always seem to fix any problems, but the fact that there have been problems has jaded me.

If you choose them, be prepared to loose all your domains, have your account frozen and never hear back from them. This is exactly what happened to me.
