Can anyone recommend an Affiliate or Ad Network for my niche?

I have been running a Shark website for a long time (www . sharkinformation . org) and it gets a lot of traffic, although I have struggled to monetise it properly

Does anyone have any ideas for networks that might be suitable? It attracts a lot of younger kids (school project research) as well as people who are interesting in sharks in general.

I have tried Google Adsense, Adbrite and some networks with Smileys toolbars etc. but to no real success.

    Any ideas much appreciated!

What you may want to do is analyze a bit of your top keywords and see what commercial entities are bidding on and ranking for them in search engines to get a better feel what type of products are a good fit for you. Off the top of my head I'd think you'd have the most success promoting affiliate offers for water/ocean related good such as surfing, swim apparel, as well as possibly things within the travel niche. As for the younger kid demographic that makes a bit more difficult, so I can see why you tried the smileys out. Maybe have a look for any education based offers that target younger demographics. All the offers I can think of at the university level but I'm sure there's got to be some sort of tutor/study guide offers out there somewhere.

Alternately you may want to try and bundle some valuable premium content into something you can sell yourself... or at least package and send via email so you can build up a list you can monetize and market to directly.

Best of luck... and nice site btw
