The title pretty much says it all - I used to use Stat Counter, but their service was down constantly. I don't trust Google Analytics one bit sense its very slow to update. I'm looking for the most accurate service that's out their (hopefully free - any help is greatly appreciated in advance guys! p.s. sorry if this is the wrong section for this.

O' you are in luck. I just deployed piwik and am offering it for free. PM me and I will set you up with an account. Piwik is way better then google's stats!
I banned Google analytics from my sites (big brother Google knows too much already) and I use Statcounter for most of my sites. In years I hardly ever found it down, it can't be just luck in years, maybe you were unlucky. I would give it a second try, but many have been suggested to you and they are probably good too. Awstats in my Control Panel is what I use as a secondary source of traffic info.
