Can anyone name file or folder "con"??

    Just try to make a file or folder in desktop or anywhere and save it as "con"??
    Can you ??....

    Can any1 explain?? Why?

    DOS uses your keyboard and screen as the standard input and output devices. Together, these two devices make up the console, known to DOS as the CON device...

    I didn't that either. I've never had a need to name or file 'con' but I see how it could cause a problem in an automated process.
