If you pay with Paypal you could get a refund.

Actually he was suppose to pay me through paypal. He said once the work was finished, he would send me the payment, but he just got the work and never paid, then ignored me. Now he is on here still trying to get others to do work for him.

Hi. It was the post that says Graphic Work Required- 4 Page A5 Leaflet. I created it for him as he rushed me to hurry up and get it done, and promised me $100. After I put my hard work into it and sent him the file, he vanished as fast as lightning. Then he ignored all of my emails and PM's=(

Most transaction are to small for escrow services . In this case the only thing that the artist could do is send a heavily watermarked copy of the file to the client . If the client likes it it will pay the fee .

The client should pay simply because it will receive a unique design that holds no value for anyone else except him . This method is not perfect but it is the best the designer can do . The only risk is that the client might be a veteran designer that will have no problem in removing even the most advanced watermark .

A bit off topic but you can send your client a monochrome file watermarked with a transparent symbol/test and very low quality file with a light watermark on it . This are impossible to steal even by a graphics god . Unfortunately both of this methods tend to alienate the client .
