UPDATE: Not worth fixing, nevermind... got some details... kinda complicated. Haha, okay, so not really, but I read this in a chat room somewhere, some "noob" - it was pretty funny. Okay, well, it seems that rather than my registry, it is "command" that has disappeared. I go to Start -> Run and then type "command" - I get an error box: "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." ... CLOSE/IGNORE are my options. Any idea how to fix this? "cmd" seems to work... and I dunno the difference. Thanks, -Matt (YAY! My cat is having kittens right now as I type this! One is out, another on the way at the moment...)
i don't know about the origins of your problem, but congrats on the kittens. I would suggest a clean reinstall or research the problem with beloved google.
Already done, not much luck... I've tried little "command.bat" hacks, but to no avail. I don't care too much anyway, getting a new comp in a year or so. And thanks on the congrats! ^_^ She has 5 kittens! So far healthy, one kind of runt-ish, but healthy nonetheless.
