Thank you everyone for your help so far. I have officially set up a wordpress.org blog. It is Sunday and I am proud to say I will not be deleting my blog. Very special thanks to 30K (saved my sanity) When I say officially set up my blog, I mean I found a theme that had some of the plugins I needed and found adequate enough to call a blog. I was able to add adsense to the blog, and as soon as I can figure out what the filepath to my server is, (I am trying to upload pictures from my server) I will have books from Amazon. I still have a few plugins I need like "add to techorati" "del.icio.us" Rss feeds (by the way do I need to sign up for rss feeds? if so where do I go?) Also still on the lookout for a theme I love. Glad to say I am hanging in there and getting a hang of wp. Thanks. Cheer everyone,
Hi Tabs, I have just been through what you are going through now, I uploaded the the adsense ready theme, it is not pretty but you can make it so easily. getting started with this is go to adsense right and just put in your code choose 160x600 also I put it under my list of catagories and blog roll as I wanted them to stay at the top. then go to adsense left and do the same but you can do 250x250 I chose an image for mine.
